End of Summer 2009

The last two months of summer have been great and I am sad to see them go. Here are a few fun things that happened during those months. First off I finished off my first and only summer semester of school, and managed to get a B in my organic chemistry class and an A in nutrition. With fall semester I am happy to announce that I am taking my last two pre requisits for the nursing program and I am now currently working on my application to nursing school at the U!!

Me and Landon like to try to work out taking days off together as often as we can because with us both working full time and going to school thats the only time we get to spend with each other. One day we spent the day in SLC and we went to the Rose Butte Gardens, nither of us had ever been and it was a fun adventure. We were some of the only ones there so we were able to spend plenty of time relaxing in the beautiful gardens!
For our 11 month anniversary we got to spend the day at the State Fair. I had not been since 3rd grade and so it was fun to go and see all the booths and animals, we watched a fun alligator show and saw a guy carve a fish out of a block of wood with a chainsaw! My favorite parts were the rabbits (I tried to talk landon into letting me buy one, with no such luck) Landon loved the really fat ones. And the Farris Wheel! It was great to feel like a kid ridding the carnival rides and getting to kiss my cute husband!
Landon surprised me with tickets to a concert for my two favorite singers of all time Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley! It was a great concert, and Landon acctually has started to like country music now. He said next time we were going to splurge and get the really good seats! It was even fun when it rained and we got to cuddle up close under our blanket and slow dance in the rain!

It was bittersweet to see the summer end but I am excited to celebrate our one year anniversary and plan many more fun adventurs for the year to come! I love Landon so much and everything he does for me! he is such a hard worker and my best friend I always am left wishing I had more and more time to spend with him!
